The first concert of the Thornbury Good Afternoon Choir on Saturday November 11th raised an incredible £1030.00 for Thornbury Memory Cafe and Haven Memory Café. The choir started in September and is led by Ben England.
This is one of a number of choirs under the 'Good Afternoon' title who’s music director is Grenville Jones – one of the UK’s leading choir directors.
The concert at a packed Thornbury Baptist Church also featured the Bristol Good Afternoon Choir which is also led by Ben England.

Thornbury Good Afternoon Choir meet every Thursday afternoon at Thornbury United Reformed Church. There are no auditions and the repertoire is based on enjoyment, making music and making friends!
