The Malmesbury Good Afternoon Choir rehearse every Wednesday afternoon at Malmesbury Town Hall from 2.00-4.00pm.
Grenville Jones, the founder of the Good Afternoon Choirs is delighted that Corrie Darker is the leader of the Malmesbury Good Afternoon Choir.
Corrie has lived in Malmesbury for twelve years and is an active member of the local music community. She conducted her first choir at 14 and has been Assistant Musical Director of the Malmesbury Community Choir since 2019. She also leads and sings with local acapella group, The Minuettes.
A warm welcome awaits any new members, there are NO auditions and everyone is welcome! There is no charge for attending your first rehearsal. Come alone or with a friend – either way Corrie and the Choir will be pleased to meet you. You will be joining over 1,000 people singing at Good Afternoon Choirs around the South West and beyond!
Membership forms are available to collect at every rehearsal. The choir rehearsals are in 4 terms of 10 weeks and members pay £58 per term – this covers room and piano hire, music, admin and musician fees. You do not need to join at the start of a term, you can simply come along to any rehearsal and pick up a membership form should you wish to join the choir – your fee will then be worked out for the remainder of that term.

Malmesbury does the Musicals - May 2025
On Saturday 17 May Malmesbury Good Afternoon Choir celebrated Musical Theatre in their concert held at Malmesbury United Reformed Church entitled 'Malmesbury does the Musicals'. Their special guests were the very talented ThreeO.
Christmas Concert - December 2024
Malmesbury Good Afternoon Choir very much enjoyed their Christmas Concert at Malmesbury Town Hall / Assembly Rooms on 4th December 2024. Their special guests were children from St Joseph's Catholic Primary School.
