The Torquay Good Afternoon Choir rehearse every Thursday afternoon at St John the Apostle Church from 2.00-4.00pm.
Grenville Jones, the founder of the Good Afternoon Choirs is delighted that Craig Northway is the leader of the Torquay Good Afternoon Choir.
Craig studied music at Plymouth University, and since then has enjoyed 20 years in the theatre industry, performing all over the world. Having produced, directed and performed in theatre shows for the last two decades, he has a passion for music and performing. He is currently the Director of Music at St.John’s Church in Torquay, and is so excited to be heading up Torquay GAC.
A warm welcome awaits any new members, there are NO auditions and everyone is welcome! There is no charge for attending your first rehearsal. Come alone or with a friend – either way Craig and the Choir will be pleased to meet you. You will be joining over 1,000 people singing at Good Afternoon Choirs around the South West and beyond!
Membership forms are available to collect at every rehearsal. The choir rehearsals are in 4 terms of 10 weeks and members pay £58 per term – this covers room and piano hire, music, admin and musician fees. You do not need to join at the start of a term, you can simply come along to any rehearsal and pick up a membership form should you wish to join the choir – your fee will then be worked out for the remainder of that term.
If you have any questions about the Choir please contact Tracey or Karin at Grenville's office in Westfield/Midsomer Norton via e-mail [email protected] or tel 01761 472468.
