The West Sussex Good Afternoon Choir rehearse every Thursday afternoon at Regis Recital Hall from 2.00-4.00pm.
Grenville Jones, the founder of the Good Afternoon Choirs, is delighted that Sam Chara is the leader of the West Sussex Good Afternoon Choir.
Sam Chara is a soprano singer/songwriter, Cabaret artist, and actress who grew up in the Netherlands and was partly raised in France she now lives locally. Her shows were performed all over Europe; the Montreux-Jazz festival in Switzerland, The Paradiso in Amsterdam, Glastonbury Festival, the Olympic Stadium in Barcelona, etc
A warm welcome awaits any new members, there are NO auditions and everyone is welcome! There is no charge for attending your first rehearsal. Come alone or with a friend – either way Sam and the Choir will be pleased to meet you. You will be joining over 1,000 people singing at Good Afternoon Choirs around the South West and beyond!
Membership forms are available to collect at every rehearsal. The choir rehearsals are in 4 terms of 10 weeks and members pay £58 per term – this covers room and piano hire, music, admin and musician fees. You do not need to join at the start of a term, you can simply come along to any rehearsal and pick up a membership form should you wish to join the choir – your fee will then be worked out for the remainder of that term.
