You do not have to worry about travelling to rehearsal in the dark, you will be home for the 6 o'clock news!
We enjoy making music, performing at concerts and raising money for many local organisations and charities. There are NO AUDITIONS and previous singing experience is not important – if you enjoy singing in the car or at home why not come along and find out what singing in an afternoon choir is like? The music varies from unison folk songs through to popular and well loved pieces in harmony.
Everyone is welcome. You do not have to wait to join any of our choirs at the start of a new term, simply come along to ANY rehearsal - your first is always FREE and to find out more A WARM WELCOME AWAITS!
Supporting Local Charities & Organisations
Raising money for local charities is an incredibly important part of what the Good Afternoon Choirs do. For each show, the choirs choose a different local charity to support, helping to raise awareness and much-needed funds for causes that make a real difference in our communities. Through the joy of singing, we’re proud to bring people together while giving back to the charities and organisations doing such important work.
